Sir Muhammad Iqbal Inspires Us
Sir Muhammad Iqbal Sir Muhammad Iqbal November 9th 1877 – April 21st 1938

An Indian Muslim born in 1877 in India, he became a powerful advocate, poet, philosopher and politician, now known by many for his great works in Persian and Urdu poetry.

He was the pioneer that inspired the creation of Pakistan as an Independent Muslim state, and was strong in his work on religious and political philosophy in Islam. Sir Iqbal attended Trinity College in 1907 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to pursue his political interests.

His words are said to be the greatest produced in modern times and truly inspirational.

"It is the lot of man to share in the deeper aspirations of the universe around him and to share his own destiny as well as that of the universe, now by adjusting himself to its forces, now by putting the whole of his energy to his own ends and purposes."

Muhammad Iqbal
